Micro Maltese & Teacup Maltese

Micro Maltese & Teacup Maltese

We receive many emails from people wanting to purchase a Teacup Maltese Puppy or a Micro Maltese.

There is no such thing as a TEACUP MALTESE PUPPY or MICRO MALTESE.

The word “teacup” was used to describe the size of the puppy, meaning it will be under the standard size (4-7lbs) for the toy group breed

If a breeder says they specialize in TEACUPS… BEWARE!

Most “teacups” are the runt of the litter or premature puppies.  So called “teacups” go from $10,000.   Please do your own research.

“Tea-cup” is just a marketing technique by unethical breeders to raise the price of their puppies.

With that said…. We do not sell “Teacup Maltese” or “Micro Maltese“.  Our maltese are very small.

Elvis (sire) of ALL of our puppies weighs 3 lbs.  The dams weigh between 5-7lbs pre-pregnancy.  Therefore our puppies end up on the smaller side.

In essence, this word may be used to describe the size, but there is no such thing as a “teacup maltese”, “teacup chihuahua” or a “teacup Yorkie”.  Any reputable breeder will tell you this.
